School is where a lot of this happens. The app stays a messenger. This page is where you come when you need a person.

In an emergency

  • Call 999 or 112If someone is hurt or in danger, call the emergency services. PIING does not call them for you.
  • PIING SOSIn the app, Settings, Nearby, Send SOS. It tells other PIING phones near you, even with no internet. It is not a call to 999.

Sign in, so we know it is you

iPhone

Open PIING and choose Sign in with Apple. That is Apple's own sign-in. We never see your Apple password.

Android

Open PIING and choose Sign in with Google. That is Google's own sign-in. We never see your Google password.

A computer

Open this site in the browser and sign in with email. The code on the download page is how a phone gets the app.

A phone number is not how you create an account. You can add one later so PIING can match the people already in your phone book. PIING is for ages 16 and over. Teens and parents. Safety. Support.
