No signal? Your event still talks.

Festivals, campuses, stadiums and big nights out jam the phone network. With PIING Events, one QR code on a poster puts everyone in the same chat, and when the signal dies the chat keeps going phone to phone over Bluetooth. Free for organisers and guests.

How it works

  1. Make the event. In PIING: Settings › Events › New Event. Name, place and dates (up to 14 days).
  2. Print the poster. PIING makes a poster with your QR code. Print it, put it on screens, or post it.
  3. Guests scan and join. They land in the event chat. Slow mode keeps a big crowd readable.
  4. Signal drops? Keep talking. While the event is on, PIING Nearby carries the event's no-signal chat over Bluetooth, through other PIING phones. It's sealed with the event's key, so only people in the event can read it.
  5. Someone needs help? PIING SOS alerts every PIING phone in range, with a location, even with no internet. It doesn't replace 999 or 112: call them first if you can.
